Magnetic Mounting Kit Installation Inscructions

!Caution!

These are very strong magnets.  Be careful not to put anything between them to avoid pinching.

Materials Needed:

• Tail Pinch
• Magnetic Mounting Kit (2 rare earth magnets, 2 nuts, 2 bolts, and 2 screws.)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Adjustable wrench

Instructions:

1. Attach the Magnets to the Tail Pinch:
   • Place the Tail Pinch on a flat surface on its side
   • Insert one of the supplied bolts through the magnet so that the bolt sits flush.  (There is a right way and a wrong way)
   • Insert the bolt through the banjo shaped hole near the small end.
   • Thread the nut on by hand until its snug.
   • Holding the nut in place on the inside, use the screwdriver to tighten the bolt until snug
   • Repeat with the second magnet.
2. Locate the Mounting Surface:
   • Decide where you want to install the Tail Pinch.  Make sure the location is a ferrous (magnetic) surface and free of any obstructions.
   • The side of a refridgerator is a perfect place
3. Attach the Magnets to Another Surface:
   • Using the provided screws, and a phillips head screwdriver, tighten both magnets to a sturdy wood surface.  Since the Tail Pinch is made from solid steel, it will hold the Tail Pinch in place until you are ready to take it off and move it somewhere else.
4. Test the Installation:
   • Gently pull on the Tail Pinch to ensure it is firmly attached to the cabinet. The Tail Pinch should be secure and not wobble or come loose.
